Phoenix Lime is committed to understanding how its activities, products and operations align with global efforts to move towards a more sustainable use of resources and management practices.

Phoenix Lime is committed to understanding how its activities, products and operations align with global efforts to move towards a more sustainable use of resources. With this in mind, the company seeks to continually enhance its contribution and commitment to sustainable development and improved resource management practices.

Phoenix Lime is committed to sustainable environmental management in all of its operations by developing robust polices, systems and procedures in partnership with other stakeholders. Phoenix Lime is committed to adopting an Environmental Management System that comply with regulations, to manage risks, reduce negative impacts, measure environmental performance and provide transparent reporting. The Phoenix Lime Environmental Management System is based on ISO 14001.

Phoenix Lime’s objective is to minimise the company’s footprint, by rehabilitating disturbed areas after exploration and or mining operations, to natural bushland or other agreed alternative land uses. Environmental management includes mine closure planning, to determine the end land use for development of mine rehabilitation procedures.

Environmental leadership and adherence to the Phoenix Lime Environmental Policy is the responsibility of all Phoenix Lime employees and its contractors, suppliers and vendors.

• Responsibility - Ensure all employees take responsibility for environmental management

• Partnering - Communicate and work closely with Traditional Owners and the wider community openly and transparently on environmental matters and environmental initiatives

• Management - Protect the natural environment through standard business practices by protecting biodiversity, preventing pollution and minimising waste and ensure the company complies with applicable environmental laws as a minimum standard in doing business.

• Improvement - Ensure that environmental issues are included in business planning and decision making to continually improve our environmental performance.
